LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

SPECIFIC TASK CONTRACT

32.50 hours per week x 39 weeks per year

Actual Salary Range: £16,666 - £16,967 pa inc.  (Scale 3)

 

This post is a Specific Task Contract supporting children identified with special needs.  Applicants would ideally have proven skills in working with children with special educational needs in a learning environment and would need to be confident, have good communication skills, a willingness to learn and be able to work as part of a team.  Knowledge of Makaton and Elklan training in speech and language would be an advantage.

PLAYLEADER

Hours: 7.5 hours per week x 38 weeks per annum (Monday to Friday 11.30am to 1pm)

Are you calm, patient, resourceful, proactive and have experience of working with children? We are looking to appoint a permanent Play Leader to join our busy lunchtime team.  You will be responsible for supporting children in the dining hall as well as organising, leading and monitoring the play provision during lunchtime both inside school and outside in school playgrounds.  If you enjoy supporting children to make healthy food choices as well as physical activity, why not apply to join our team of play leaders/lunchtime staff?
